“If you’re calling to threaten my testicles again, I’ll have you know-”
“Louis?” I whispered. I was afraid to speak normally because I knew my voice would shake.
“What’s up Amy?” Louis’ mood instantly changed when he heard my frantic whisper.
“Where’s Harry?” I was sitting in a tangled mess of blankets on my bed and staring around the room in fear.
“He’s right here, why?” I heard Harry mumble something before the phone was apparently passed into his hands.
“Amy? What’s wrong?” Harry’s voice was alarmed, he seemed unsure of what was going on.
“Where are you and Louis?”
“We’re at a restaurant, why?”
“Make sure you call security to get you home.” I told him and spoke again before he could say anything. “Can I please speak to Louis again?”
“No Amy, you have to explain-”
“Please, Harry!?”
“Fine,” Harry grumbled and Louis was soon on the phone.
“Make sure you get security to take you home. Promise?”
“I promise.” Louis said solemnly and I sighed in relief; even if I hadn’t told him what happened he knew enough to guess. They were okay, for tonight at least.

“That was amazing.” I beamed at Harry and he smiled back, taking my hand as he lead me from the restaurant. We had a dinner just the two of us, about three days after Jack’s ridiculous phone call. Harry was a gentleman as always. He refused to let me pay and he had pulled my chair out for me, and opened the car door for me when we arrived. I smiled whilst thinking about this… he really was the biggest romantic.
“Come on.” Harry tugged on my hand when I walked toward the car and took me the opposite way down the street. He seemed like he knew where he was headed and I struggled to keep up with him - his converse, jeans and shirt made it easy for him to walk fast; whereas I was dressed in a floral dress accessorised with a black belt around my waist and black wedges on my feet. I also had Harry’s jacket on which kept me warm in the freezing air. I hadn’t realised where we were until he lead me around the corner and I saw the great London Eye standing not fifty meters away, the tinkling lights allowing us to see it in all it’s glory, even at night. I had never been on it and didn’t plan to: it’s height was a whopping 135 meters. I wasn’t that good with heights.
Harry saw me pause, and stopped with me; his arm around my waist as we gazed at the huge ferris wheel.
“Let’s go up.” Harry tugged at my hand and pulled me forward, but I barely moved a step.
“I… I don’t want to.”
“Why not love?” His curious eyes found mine and registered my worried expression, a grin tugging at the corners of his lips.
“Aw Ames, are you scared?”
“Well… no, it’s just-”
“I promise,” Harry said as he moved in front of me, his hands clasping mine tightly. He held my gaze as he reassured me. “I will not let anything happen to you okay?” I nodded my head once and Harry continued. “I mean, it’s not as if it’s going to topple off and go rolling into the river-”
I hit him on the arm as my terror grew, and he laughed softly.
“Amy. I promise. Nothing is going to happen to you… it’s not even that high. I swear.”
“It’s one-hundred and thirty five meters, Styles.” I whispered and his eyebrow went up.
“Okay seriously, how do you even know that?”
“I like to do my research…” I mumbled, looking down at our still entwined hands.
“That’s not even very high, Amy-”
“One-hundred and thirty five meters.”
“Be thankful it’s not one hundred and thirty six meters.”
“I guess, but-” Harry’s soft smile took all the breath out of me, and I stared at him at a complete loss for words. His face in the half light from the city lights was absolutely gorgeous, his eyes hidden in mysterious shadow. His curls were looking extra soft tonight and his dimples were making their appearance on his face. Harry was looking at me like he knew exactly how he was making me feel.
“That’s it then.” Harry took my hand and dragged me toward the ferris wheel before I could try to resist. The line wasn’t long and soon we were being ushered into one of the little capsules, my hand gripping his extra tight. He had tipped the person standing there so we could get a capsule of our own which I was grateful for - I could hear murmurs around us and see people pointing as people recognised us.
We made our way up the ferris wheel in silence since I was too afraid to talk. Hell, I was too afraid to even open my eyes. I simply leant against the wall while I heard him moving around, looking at the different parts of the city. At one of the many times we stopped, Harry touched my eyelids softly.
“Open your eyes for a second babe.”
“No.”
Harry’s cheeky chuckle sounded rather unnerving as I felt him wrap his arms around my waist. His left hand came up to grab my chin and his lips were on mine for a second. My eyes flew open to see him staring at me, and he grinned in victory.
“Now before you shut your eyes again,” Harry held my gaze in his as he stared intently at me. “You have to look at the view.”
Harry gestured out around us and I slowly leaned forward off the wall. My eyes darted around and all of a sudden, I could barely get my eyes closed even to blink. We were at the very top of the wheel, and the view was amazing. We could see the city stretching out on one side, the river on the other, and the different colored lights made the city that more breath taking. My gaze shifted around taking in the scenery, and soon enough I was leant up against the side of the capsule with my face pressed against the window.
“This view is amazing!” I breathed in awe, fogging up the glass a little as I felt his arms wrap around me from behind.
“It is.” Harry agreed lightly, and I could feel him staring at me. I turned around to see my suspicions were confirmed; and blushed. I was suddenly embarrassed as I felt the butterflies fluttering throughout my stomach; I don’t think a guy had ever made me feel like this whenever I was with him. Every time he said something cute it felt like swarms and swarms of butterflies had suddenly gone into psycho-mode.
“I love it when you blush.” Harry’s soft hand found my warm cheek and I suddenly became very interested in my toes.
“I don’t.”
Harry’s hand was on my chin, lifting it up softly so my eyes would meet his. “I made you blush even more! Aaw.”
“Shut up!” I laughed and turned away from him, staring around at the city. His lips were at my neck and he turned me around to face him; soon enough his eager lips found mine.
“Harry.” I mumbled when his lips found my jaw, and he sighed softly.
“Mmm?”
“We’re on a ferris wheel.”
“So?”
“Later.” I grabbed his chin and pulled his lips to mine again for a brief second, before turning back to face the window. He buried his face in my hair and sighed in frustration.
“Stop being so horny all the time.” He chuckled at that and his arms were even tighter around me.
“Sorry love.” Harry kissed my cheek softly before staring out of the windows himself.
I didn’t say anything and nor did Harry, we simply stood there in silence for a few minutes, his arms still tight around my waist.
My face was up against the window, and a sudden jolt in the capsule made me jump back closer into Harry if that was possible, making him stumble a little. My heart beat one hundred miles an hour, until I realised that we were just moving down and that was it. We were not falling off and dying, soon to crash into a gazillion peaces on the floor. I could hear Harry’s amused laughter filling up the space and I pushed him lightly in the stomach.
“Stop laughing at me!” I said, but his infectious peals of laughter didn’t cease. “I thought we were about to die, okay!”
Soon enough I was joining him, and by the time we got out at the bottom we were giggling like drunken idiots, yet still completely sober.
The few people that were there were staring at us, and I could see a couple of paps - the ride had taken a half hour, and people obviously would have gotten in contact with them. I sighed: I didn’t want our date to be ruined by flashes and all that. Couldn’t we just have a normal night out?
Harry sensed my frustration and before we could walk a step away from the capsule after we exited, he kissed me with a fierce passion, as though to announce to the paps and anyone watching that I was his and he was mine. My hands were tangled in his hair and he lifted me up, spinning me around slowly once before he placed me back on the ground.
We pulled away to have the flashes blind us, and I bit my lip softly. We weren’t planning on announcing our new fling to the public yet, but I guess we had gone against the plan a bit.
Harry lead me away and we walked slowly, holding hands firmly as we stepped onto the side street our restaurant was on.
There was no one about which was good: as soon as we were away from the paps Harry’s loud mood came back. He let go of my hand and began to dance around in front of me like some uncoordinated ballerina. He then began doing this ridiculous Monty Python impression which caused me to stop and hold my stomach from laughing too hard. He stood in front of me with a solemn expression and begun to sing the Penis Song in the same posh tone from the movie. I threw my head back in laughter, thinking about how this was the greatest night ever and nothing could go wrong.
“Enjoying ourselves, are we?”
